To the Editors of McGill’s student publications :

We are writing to inform you of a decision made by the SSMU Legislative Council during an in-camera session on the evening of 2.3.2011. The resolving clause, as adopted, is as follows :

« Resolved, That the SSMU President be faced with a public censure. »

Motions to censure require two-thirds majority of Council members, and this passed with the required two-thirds majority.
The SSMU Legislative Council hereby censures the President of SSMU.
This is the extent to which we are able to inform you.
Best regards,
Cathal Rooney-Cespedes and Raymond Xing
